I am a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University, which is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Biology is my favorite subject, and I earned my bachelor's degree in molecular and cellular biology. I have been accepted by the New York Medical College and will soon be a first-year medical student.I believe biology to be one of the most important sciences, because the concepts learned from basic biology serve as a foundation for many other subjects, such as biochemistry, nutrition, and anatomy. Aside from tutoring students in biology and anatomy, I can also tutor students in a variety of math disciplines ranging from elementary math skills to advanced courses like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. I am able to help students who are taking IB and AP Biology and am happy to help students prepare for the biological and physical sciences sections of the MCAT.I enjoy running, hiking and biking outdoors as well as practicing yoga. I try to visit art museums whenever time allows, and I love to create collages and abstract pieces of artwork.
